Full name: Zhang Xin Yuan
Personality: confident, fearless, honest, independent, intelligent, proud, selfish, sociable, temperamental, unforgiving, wrathful
Mutant ability: Yuan is a thunderbird, a “supernatural” bird of power and strength. She has the ability to shapeshift into human form to walk among the average man and conceal her true identity. The thunderbird is an extremely large bird with an wingspan of just over 20 meters. This is her original form but she is capable of transforming into the size of a raven, should she ever feel the need to do so. Despite the pitch black plumage the bird has razor sharp teeth in its beak. Yuan is, in her avian form, capable to cause great storms at will. Clouds are pulled together by her wingbeats and the sound of thunder is made by her wings clapping. This is the main reason why she is directly connected to adverse weather conditions, along with her power to control rainfall and ability to shoot lighting from her eyes.
Weakness: One weakness in her everyday life ought to be her original avian size. If she transforms and either forgets where she is, or fails to control her size, she is bound to break a room or two. Another negative thing is her hot temper and the fact that her powers act accordingly. Anger her and she might as well fry you with lightning by just blinking, not because she necessarily wants to, but because it is in her nature. The thunderbird is a very wrathful creature and is known to act first and think second which is never good those moments someone rubs her the wrong way. Among with that, due to her sheer size in her avian form, she is very dependent on her wings. If they get damaged, or if she damages her arms in her human form, she simply can’t fly.
Origins: Already dabbling into anti-human believes they simply grew stronger when her father was killed and she found temporary solitude with a friend of his. He was a member of the brotherhood and that was how she got introduced. Hesitant at first, all too used to going from one place to the other without staying for too long, she believed she would be stripped of her freedom if she accepted such commitment. After further investigation it turned out that there was a position that fit her perfectly, hence why she joined as an explorer.
